Eight National Organic Agriculture Program (NOAP) research for development (R4D) projects highlighted its accomplishments and sustainability plans during the project review led by DA-BAR on October 15-16, 2025, at the Agricultural Training Institute in Quezon City.

Four completed projects have documented and assessed traditional agricultural practices within indigenous cultural communities (ICC). These projects focused on selected communities in the Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Bicol, and SOCCSKSARGEN regions.

Discussions also included the activities, latest developments, and challenges of four ongoing projects. These projects are centered on the production system of Black Soldier Fly frass, which is being explored as a potential organic input.

Providing insights and recommendations for the projects are DA-BAR Assistant Director Raymond Patrick L. Cabrera, technical consultants Dr. Rodel G. Maghirang, Dr. Vivencio R. Mamaril, along with experts from DA-BPI, DA-BAFS, and NCIP.
