DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR) director Junel B. Soriano led the inauguration and blessing of the bureau's annex building II and newly renovated dormitory rooms and offices on 6 November 2023 in Quezon City.

In his message, Soriano highlighted the improvements as the Bureau’s way to provide its employees with a workspace that is not only comfortable and efficient, but also fosters collaboration and productivity; hence, allowing them to perform better as they provide services to clients.

Present during the inauguration were DA-Internal Audit Service director Christopher R. Bañas, DA-Kabuhayan At Kaunlaran ng Kababayang Katutubo deputy program director Gerard Neri B. Arañas, and DA-BAR key officials and staff.
