DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research assistant director Joell H. Lales visited the San Jorge Experiment Station in Tacloban for a preliminary assessment relative to the station’s project proposals under the bureau’s Technology Business Incubation (TBI) program on 24 October 2023.

The DA-BAR Agri-fisheries TBI Program focuses on strengthening the capacities of research for development-based incubators through necessary support, guidance, and mentorship to those who seek to establish agri-fishery technology-based enterprises.

Also during the visit, Dr. Joel Cantoneros, superintendent of DA-San Jorge Experiment Station and other key staff of the station discussed with assistant director Lales other possible R4D collaborations with the station in terms of technology development and research facility support.
