DA-BAR director Junel Soriano visited the Livestock Resource Center, and Dairy Production and Development Center of DA-MIMAROPA Palawan Research and Experiment Station (PRES) in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan on 29-30 August 2023.

 Agricultural Center chief Librada Fuertes, Dairy Production and Development Farm and Livestock Resource Center OIC Gomer Decano and Palawan Agricultural Research OIC Danilo Jimenez, researchers, and key personnels discussed the different on-going research projects and activities of the station and presented research proposals for possible DA-BAR support.

 During the said visit, director Soriano shared research for development ideas and directions. He also acknowledged the potential of “Basa” (Caralla) trees as a promising alternative feed to dairy cows and forage crop to ruminants.
