Showcasing the latest technologies and innovations on agriculture and fisheries R4D, the DA-BAR free seminar series officially opened on 16 August 2023, at Teacher’s Hall, Central Luzon State University, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija and via Stream Yard and Facebook Live.

Among the highlights of the bureau’s National Agriculture and Fisheries Technology Exhibition and 36th Anniversary celebration, featured on the first of the two-day seminar series were solar-powered hose reel irrigation, goat production technology, integrated pest management against mango cecid fly, and off-season onion production. These were presented and discussed by Dr. Armando N. Espino, Jr. and Dr. Edgar A. Orden from Central Luzon State University, Aries V. Magat from DA-Ilocos Region, and Salvador M. Bulda from DA-Cagayan Valley, respectively.

The second day of the free seminar Series will be held tomorrow, 17 August at 9:00 AM on-site and via Stream Yard and Facebook Live again.
