In the continuing effort to disseminate to the public, particularly the farmers and fisherfolk, available technologies and products generated and validated through research for development initiatives, DA-BAR holds the second day of its seminar series on 16 August 2023 at Teacher’s Hall, Central Luzon State University, Science City of Muñoz and via streamyard and Facebook live.
Part of the bureau’s first National Agriculture and Fisheries Technology Exhibition and 36th anniversary celebration, speakers Dr. Joseph Christopher C. Rayos, DA-National Fisheries Research and Development Institute, Dr. Manuel Jose Regalado, Philippine Rice Research Institute, and Ms. Carmelita V. Alkuino, DA-Food Development Center, discussed Oyster Culture using Floating Bamboo Raft, WateRice in Action, and Significance of FDC Services to Agri-fisheries Research for Development, respectively. Speakers also answered questions from both the live and virtual audience.
