The DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research (DA-BAR), together with the DA-Climate Resilient Agriculture Office, attended the 8th ASEAN-Climate Resilience Network (ASEAN-CRN) Annual Meeting on 4 April 2023 via virtual platform.

An annual gathering of ASEAN-CRN, ATWGARD focal points, and regional and international development partners, the meeting was highlighted by a presentation on the activities and achievements of the network, as well as discussions on the updates and plans of the ASEAN member states in their respective countries in line with the network priority areas and activities, and ASEAN policy framework.

Key messages and agreements during the meeting will be submitted for discussion to the 17th ASEAN Technical Working Group on Agricultural Research and Development (ATWGARD) meeting on 5 April 2023. Thailand Department of Agriculture serves as the ASEAN-CRN chair.
