University of the Philippines Los Baños Edible Landscaping (UPLB-EL) Team led by project leader Dr. Fernando Sanchez, Jr. turned over an EL Demo Garden to DA-Bicol Region to inspire and train nearby communities on EL garden management.

In a simple ceremony held at the regional office in Pili, Camarines Sur, the DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research led by OIC-director Joell Lales and other project partners graced the occasion to express their support to the EL project for DA regional field Offices in support of attaining food self-sufficiency in the communities.

Funded by the DA-BAR, the demo garden will initially be set-up in other DA regional offices like Cagayan Valley and MIMAROPA.
