Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) vice president for Research and Extension Dr. Hermogenes Paguia paid a courtesy visit and discussed with DA-BAR OIC-director Joell Lales a proposed R4D collaboration to establish a technology-based enterprise development on rice-ulang culture.

The proposed Palay-Isdaan project intends to show farmers and fish growers one feasible venture to increase their production and profitability following a private-public partnership model and focusing on alleviating the state of fisherfolk cooperatives in the province of Bataan especially those in the poorest areas.
