Davao Del Sur State College (DSSC) President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes and project Leader Dr. Graciela L. Caballero paid a courtesy visit to DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR) OIC-director Joell H. Lales on 2 December 2022 at the Office of the Director, RDMIC Building, Quezon City. 

The meeting highlighted a discussion on the bureau’s new research for development agenda propelled by market driven, solution-oriented, sustainable, and farmer-centered agriculture and fisheries technology innovations focusing in areas of high poverty and low agricultural productivity. 

DSSC officials discussed their proposed collaborative program on technology business incubation and other R4DE projects on seaweed liquid fertilizer as biostimulants and bamboo processing technology. 

It was also attended by DA-BAR Research Program and Development Division acting head Raymond Patrick L. Cabrera, Technology Management Section head Ethcel Princess P. Libang, and project development officer Chrystel Venus F. Fonseca.
