PARTNERS R4D Proposal In-house Review

The DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR) conducted an in-house review of research for development (R4D) proposals under the Participatory Agriculture and Fisheries R4D Technology Transfer Towards Entrepreneurship and Sustainability (PARTNERS) Program on 17 January 2024 at 4F Conference Hall and via Google Meet. 

DA-Caraga presented their proposal on the SCALE-UP program in Agusan del Sur which focuses on the utilization of best practices and upscaling of matured, market-driven, and demand-driven technologies in soil, water, nutrient, crop management, and product processing. DA-MIMAROPA, DA-Bicol Region, DA-Northern Mindanao, DA-Davao Region and DA-SOCCSKSARGEN focused on the PARTNERS approach which aims to bring tailor-fitted interventions to stakeholders in selected areas or communities based on their identified needs through proactively engagement of the farmers and fisherfolks and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders in achieving an inclusive development.

DA-BAR Assistant director Joell Lales and Program Development Division head Raymond Patrick Cabrera led the bureau in providing guidance to the proponents in finalizing the proposal for funding.
