Functions

1. Orchestrate the planning and formulation as well as the updating of national and regional RD&E agenda and programs;
2. Implement monitoring mechanisms with respect to operational and programs’ progress;
3. Consolidate and prepare the Bureau’s annual activities, financial plan, and accomplishment reports;
4. Facilitate the review and evaluation of national/regional RD&E program/project proposals for funding and release of funds and other support services for the implementation; and
5. Technology commercialization and management concerns, as well as intellectual property aspects, impact evaluation and policy concerns of R&D activities
