Functions
- Coordinate and strengthen the NaRDSAF towards generation and transfer of technologies useful to productive system and national life;
- Provide leadership in the formulation of the National and Regional Integrated Research and Development and Extension Agenda Programs
- Coordinate the development and implementation of manpower development program for researchers, technical and non-technical staff of the R&D system;
- Develop and implement a program for the acquisition, upgrading, and maintenance of R&D facilities and equipment;
- Implement a monitoring and evaluation system on agriculture and fisheries R&D in collaboration with the appropriate institutions;
- Establish and strengthen partnerships with national and international R&D institutions
