The DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR), Farm to MAYANI Inc. (MAYANI), and Kalipunan ng Samahan Kalalakihan ng Mataas na Parang Inc., sealed a memorandum of understanding on June 28, 2022, at the Office of the Director, RDMIC Bldg., Quezon City. 

Under said MOU, the Bureau, by providing necessary R4D support and innovations to agri-fishery producers and processors, and MAYANI, through its e-commerce platform, shall facilitate and create market access to smallholder farmers and fisherfolks, farmer cooperatives and associations, such as the Kalipunan ng Samahan Kalalakihan ng Mataas na Parang Inc., and agri-fisheries Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). 

DA-BAR director Dr. Junel B. Soriano represented the Bureau, along with assistant directors Joell Lales and Anthony Obligado; while Farm to MAYANI Inc. was represented by its co-founder and CEO Mr. JT Solis.

Launched in 2019, MAYANI is an agri-ecommerce platform that helps farmers who are unable to sell and market their produce by linking them to a wider customer base through e-commerce.
