2017 NTF Day 3: Closing Program

Capping off the 13th Agriculture and Fisheries Technology Forum and Product Exhibition of the Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR) were messages of gratitude from BAR Director Nicomedes Eleazar and Assistant Director Teodoro Solsoloy for the continued support of all the participating exhibitors to the yearly conduct of the event.

Highlight of the closing ceremony was the awarding of “Best Products and Best Booths”. Winning the “Best Products” were: apali flour-based products of DA-RFO 11 (1st place); zero waste products from squash of DA-RFO 5 (2nd place); maize silky sip of DA-RFO 2 (3rd place); adlay sweet cone of DA-RFO 4B (4th place); and fishtail palm sugar of DA-RFO 10 (5th place).

Meanwhile, the “Best Booth” awards were given to: DA-RFO 2 (1st place); DA-RFO 5 (2nd place); DA-RFO 10 (3rd place); DA-RFO 4B (4th place); and DAF-ARMM (5th place).

The top three winners received research grants under the National Technology Commercialization Program (NTCP) worth Php 2 million for the 1st prize, Php 1.5 million for the 2nd prize, and Php 1 million for the 3rd prize.
